This video is to compare the Kodak Playsport Zx5 to the iPhone 4′s video camera quality. Both cameras were recording the same footage at the same time, with no colour correction, image stabilization or any effects to make the video quality look better. The Kodak was recording at 720p 60 fps (frames per second) and the iPhone 4 was recording at 720p 30 fps. This video is also testing the microphone quality of both cameras. I alternate between the two camera’s microphones so you can hear a little bit of each camera’s microphone quality. This comparison has some shots of scenery, trees, flowers and some close up shots aka. macro photography. The footage of the iPhone was shot with the back camera as the back camera is a higher definition camera then the front facing camera. This comparison is a side by side comparison and should be viewed in full-screen and 720p HD for best results. I personally think the Kodak Playsport Zx5 is a way better camera then the iPhone 4. This video was made in Sony Vegas Pro 10 and is in 720p HD (widescreen).

in my opinion the playsport is far better then the iphone4 the video is more stable then iphone4 the color is much better then the? iphone4 so in my opinion the playsport kills the iphone4 hard

in my videos you can hear a fuzzy background noise from the playsport. it’s in all videos I have made with it. what mode was it in, in this? video?

the only thing i disliked was the microphone quality. Zx3 even had a better audio quality….i wonder if this is caused by adding more durability such as more sealing around the camera? cast so that it’s a better water proof than the zx3.

of course kodak is much better, it IS designed and produced ONLY for video recording and taking photos? unlike Iphone 4.
Zx5 is way better because of better quality and the colors? are more brighter.
