dude, was only joking regarding your address in the time of all this looting! Nice setup though, have just got an Arcam AVR300 and very much looking forward to it. Replacing a newer Denon but i want the 2 channel awesomeness back i used? to have with an old Nad. Going with B&W 603′s and a BK Monlith Sub. The Denon just dont cut it.

Its fine as its not really my addy, but google it as it might make you laugh, your set up sounds great and ur right about only using 2 channel amp, i would prefer that but i also want the 5.1 for films…. guess you can’t have it all.But Audio T did say that Arcam amps are the best for their money for running? both setups

I have a BK Monolith sub (the 12′ DF), and I can tell you, it rocks, although, be prepared for a bit of a wait when you place your order. I along with many other owners of this sub, suffered much frustration with BK for taking about 6 weeks for the order to be delivered. You might get lucky and get yours in good time (I hope so), but nevertheless, in the end it’s worth it!
At the time I? seriously considered the SVS 13′, but on hearing the Monolith, it was sufficient. Good luck!
Had? my Monolith for a while dude, you’re right it rocks! Was lucky enough to get one from ebay some time ago from a poor guy who bought one brand new only to be told by his Mrs that he had to get rid soon as he got it delivered!

i’m running mine on an Onkyo 606, and I consider that amp to be ‘entry level’, and even still, I don’t have my woofer setting on my amp, no higher than -7 to -5 max, and it rumbles like thunder! There’s? so much headroom to play with, it’s unbelievable! I’m running 6x B&W M1′s for my surrounds, and i’m happy with them. The dream would be to have the 801′s, but at £12,000 a pair!!…dream on!! Would be nice though!

Yes choice of music. Sound separation was distinct and despite it being YouTube, the sound? stage came through nicely. I’ll bet some of those lossless B&W Society of Sound files sound great in your system.

That “shit” as you called it is Jean Michel Jarre and the album is Oxygene, it is from the late 1970′s. Obviously not to your taste and I respect that. It is actually a very good album to sit back to if your felling a tad stressed out? as it can make you feel really relaxed, well it does to me anyway. I suggest that you give it a try. At least you like my system with is mostly appreciated and thanks for your not so positive feedback.
Thanks for your post, obviously YouTube is never going to sound like my system does in the flesh and? with the copyright issues as well we are limited with what we can deliver with the video’s. I am more than happy with the sound and yes to me they sound great just as you can appreciate but obviously others may not. Many thanks for your positive thoughts.

Everyone has there own taste so let them be i say, I don’t have the 803′s now as i managed to upgrade them, Have a look at that vid and hopefully that bit of music might be to your liking. Take? Care
